About
A while back, I noticed that I was getting into a cooking rut. When I went to the store, I got the same basic ingredients and made variations of the same basic dinners. First, I tried just picking out a new ingredient then cooking with it, but that wasn’t enough. Then I decided to try cooking traditional food from a different country every week (roughly).
Hungry Crabb was created to chronicle these culinary adventures. I will try to provide history for the recipes or some kind of reason why I chose that recipe over other ones. In addition, I include ratings and notes on each recipe, as well as the overall meal. My goal is to learn about other cuisines and cultures, by making foods the way they do and understanding why they cook the types of foods they do. I invite you to follow along as I travel around the world from my kitchen!
